While handlers give much of their own time and money, the unit depends upon donations in order to remain functional as a rapid response resource on a 24-hour, year-round basis.

- Canine GPS tracking collars from Dogtra - The state of NJ requires all of our dogs utilize gps collars during active searches.
- Funds or gift cards to offset the coast of fuel and lodging when responding to out of state searches.
- Utility trailer for base camp
- Ongoing funding to maintain the level of training for our dogs and handlers (it takes approx 2 years to get a dog trained for certification and then continuous training up until the dog retirement.
- Veterinary bills associated with the dog being involved in Search and Rescue
- Insurance for our unit
- Fees for renting out training facilities
